BlitzPlay? Doesn't that come with BlitzPlus or 3D?

Yes, it works with Networked games, like on a LAN network. A while back I made a chat program in Blitz called SlimChat, which I posted the source in the code archives, and it worked on my LAN network. And I am sure I could get it to work outside of my network, I'd probably just have to open the right ports in the router's firewall

Yeah, as long as you set up port forwarding (if you even have a router), you'll be fine. If you don't, the communication to the server (likely your computer during development) is interrupted at the router.

BB works with Networking. BlitzPlay from what I've heard is a IDE, in otherwords not a language.

As far as I know, BlitzPlay is a library for Blitz. In all the "Blitz" products, the IDE and the language are referred to the same way. "BlitzPlus" would be the language name, and the name of the IDE product itself.

You don't need BlitzPlay, you can use DirectPlay. (Right?)

Or perhaps BlitzPlay is the term for the DirectPlay library made for Blitz.

I got blitzplay, but now I don't use BB any more, I don't use BP anymore... But it was ok; although at $50 a bit steep.

Oh ok, my mistake, I thought BlitzPlay was the program that opens up in some of the multiplayer functions on Blitz, then I googled, haha

But feel free to look at SlimChat's source anyway, it might help in the process of making a multiplayer game

I thought BB supported multiplayers.
