Hey everyone! Josh here again---anyone here own a PS3? If so, my name on the PS Network is Zookey plz send me a friend request (don't forget to mention you are on CCn so I know it isn't spam)---would be cool to meet up and chat and play Resistance on that note, does anyone have a Wii? If so let me know and I can look up the 16-digit friend code and we can exchange codes (I hate how the Wii is set up like that--adding friends = pulling teeth---but it would be nice to have some friends in there before online games come out so I can already have people to match up with!)

sweet that should be soon from my understanding although it is kinda weird--I was Holiday help at the local GameStop this year and we got only like 3 of the Classic Controllers in (which I took one home and got totally ticked when I found it can't play GameCube games but a GC controller can do everything it can--so there is no need for the Classic Controller!) and several other accessories were hard to find.

Hey everyone--to those interested my Wii Number is 7584430584491600---we both need to enter each other's for the friend request to work (again, slightly pulling teeth) but still cool to finally have friends on the Wii LOL!!!!

With PS3--I ordered a DVD with Yellow Dog Linux on it and will be recieving it later this week (should be at least) so I am pretty excited--my first time with Linux and my Window's PC died recently so it will tide me over until I get a new one (been using the family laptop as well as my PS3 to post)----really cool now I get to say I used Linux as well as Windows and Mac---BTW did anyone see the new Iphone (www.apple.com/iphone)? Man talk about awesome--I want that so bad--the only thing tho is the battery should last longer on it (something like 5 hours with talk time and I think 10 or so hours with music) and it should come in more than just an 8 gig variation---I like having my 30 gig Ipod because I use it as a back up porable Hard Drive to back up all my important stuff---so it would be uber convienient to have a phone that had like 20 or so gigs built in to do that kind of thing!

I have a N64! I ALSO have a PC! Do you have a PC? lolerism. I want to get either XBOX 360, or Wii, but I don't have many consoles. I do have Xavix for those who saw the dawn of motion tech in games. (Not really the dawn, but one of the first big ones.

Xavix is like the pre-Wii, motion technology, except that it have many big attachments.

Do you know what I think is funny? It seems like people buy a Wii to play games, and a PS3 to install linux For some reason, I don't think that is what sony had in mind.

I don't think I'll be getting a PS3, and I won't buy a Wii console either, but I *am* on the lookout to buy just a Wiimote so that I can hack around with it.

LOL well I would be the first you heard of then that bought a PS3 for games Resistance Fall of Man is uber amazing plus there is like 6-7 games coming out within the next 2 months I really badly want---I just installed Linux because I could and it was a chance to learn about it--the PS3 is actually really nice you get more than 600 bucks out of it---they really took the swiss army knife approach with it!
HanClinto:Funny article dude!! LOL tho I played Call of Duty 3 on the Wii and the aiming thing isn't as revolutionary as Nintendo hyped it to be--I did that for like 2 minutes then I ended up resting my hand on my lap and just using my hand movements to move the cursor so my arm didn't get so tired--so in the end it was about as easy as the second analog stick on most consoles---also, when you hold your hand out to aim, you naturally tilt the remote up---for shooters a pistol grip would have been better

If you want something thats designed for the game. Its expensive and what Xavix was. I think it might be cool to have a game where you actually have a rifle in a shooter game... The ones they have out were bad graphics and expensive, and only sports.

i know this isn't EXACTLY on topic but you were talking about what consoles you have now. well here's my list of consoles i own:
NES, SNES, GameBoy(a bit over 30 games), GameGear, VirtualBoy, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, PS2 (about 106 games), GameCube, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, N64
plus PC, Mac, and and old Amiga Commodore 64

i THINK thats everything... or the major stuff anyways. Needless to say i'm a collector (and i just got one of those display boards for FF12 !!)

whoa that's a lot. the most I've ever had was two at a time. I had a PSX and a Sega Genesis at one time. then I sold the Genesis. so it was just the PSX. then I got a N64. then I sold the N64. then I got a Gamecube, and I sold the PSX.

so now all I have is a Gamecube. going to get a Wii as soon as I can find one.

Nothin' wrong with that. I'm not canadian, australian, british or south african and I spell colour with a u. Just seems to be more apropriate.

I'm American, and rarely go past the borders, never been overseas, and I spelled armor, "Armour" and color, "Colour".

Thanks for the remark BuddBoy.

Then you're spelling it wrong, mene-mene. As long as you're in America, according to American English dictionaries, it is spelled "color."

CPUFreak can spell it however he wants: he's an "international" :-p

Then again, one could say that whatever you write for the purpose of posting on the "internet" can be spelled any way at all. There is no national standard, national language, Daniel Webster, etc. It is just good practice to spell according to the rules of your own national language.

Why do so many American "intellectuals" think that spelling words like color with a "u" makes them seem more educated? It's wrong. Sophisticated as it may seem to the rest of this country, it's still wrong.

1. I didn't say it made me more intellectual. I said I USED to do it. NOW I don't after I actually learned how to spell correctly. Yes, I'd forgotten Color was spelled that way.

Heh, I didn't mean to offend.

While I wrote that post, I had this girl in mind who used to work on the school newspaper. Every time I'd glance at one of her articles I'd see a word with a few extra vowels. Hence the rant.

Blame it on the 18th century americans who revolted against the British, won independance, form the United States of America, and severed ties with most of Britain's culture due 100 years of immigrant influence.
