I'm jumping into the weekly update wagon. This is my first update:

So far I have no pictures to show. All I can say is that I'm (very) slowly making progress on my RTS. The design doc is getting shape and I have started to code. I did have previous attempts but this time is for good. I think I have a good idea on the tasks that lie ahead.
I realize I can't do it all so if there's anyone interested to join let me know. At this point I know for sure I'll need help with networking. I think I have a good idea on how to design a 'networking friendly' RTS. However I have no knowledge of how to actually transmit the data over network. So if anyone has experience with WinSock or a networking engine and would like to get involved let me know.

P.S. If you want to find out more, I'll be posting regular updates on my home page.

Is this for everyone to use?

Anyway with Well of Bethlehem, its a smaller size game, but still by far the largest I've done, and the design document isn't very thorough. But its still useful. Progress has come to a almost complete stop, due to some unanswered questions, and supplies not gotten. But I'm patient with this one, and will wait. A true beast I am, and a true beast doesn't change.

Hey Mene^2!

You're free to use whichever thread you would like, but the one most people have been posting in is the Talk Is Cheap thread. But if your style is more creating an individual thread for your updates (as Fearless has done), then feel free to do so.

I haven't heard about your Well of Bethlehem game -- I'm interested in hearing more about it.

HanClinto: I have seen the thread before, but wasn't sure if that was only for an updates, it seemed to be a bi-purpose thread. I'll post this there.
