It could be the way your including your header files. In DXGeomBuffer.h you are including the DXUtil.h header... move that into the DXGeomBuffer.cpp code file rather, and that should eliminate the issue. I wasn't able to compile your code, as all the systems at work have VS.Net 8 and most don't have directx sdk installed.
