http://thegamecreators.com - Has anyone used any of the products offered? I've seen mention of DarkBasic around here a few times, as well as 3D Gamemaker. Can I get some feedback? Satisfactory, unsatisfactory, indifferent?

Thanks.

As for DarkBASIC and DarkBASIC Pro, I'd say unsatisfactory. I haven't played with them in a while, but they were very, VERY unstable when I last did. And to me, the english like syntax is painfully grotesque. But it might be something good for someone whose never programmed before. When dealing with 3D BASIC languages, I'd go with something like Blitz3D instead. Just my opinion though.

Cartography shop, on the other hand, I have heard is an extremely nice editor. You can use it to make interiors in the Torque engine as well as its other exporters. The price isn't really that bad either considering ID wants $5000 for Radiant, and Valve won't let anyone use Hammer for anything but mods.

I don't know much about DarkBasic. So if you are looking for a basic programing language you might stay with Blitz3D as Brandon said.
