Hello! I'm new here and new to programming. I've just spent the past month throwing together a simple 2D game, and just attempted to send the .exe to a friend via AIM... but its not coming up on her computer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be wrong? Thanks!!

Bytheway, I wrote the program using the Blitz Demo, but I converted it using BlitzPlus... could that be the issue?

I seroiusly doubt what you created the executable with is the problem. More than likely, AIM is just blocking EXE files. Try using a zip program to compress it with, and send it as a zip.

do you have the same version of AIM, also? sometimes you can't send files or direct connect without matching versions. I ran into this problem with a friend alot. trying to get her to upgrade...
can you send other kinds of files?

Either that or just throw it up on a server
