I know there must be a couple of Truespace users here, (Angel?) well, I just received an email from them advertising their new 'GameSpace' tool which is meant to be a 3d modeller/animation package aimed squarely at game developers/modders (and outputs to supposably all the major 3d engine formats). A bit pricey ($199 I think), but you may find it interesting. Here's the link: http://www.caligari.com/gamespace/ [This message has been edited by Mack (edited September 14, 2003).] |

Thanks for the post AmazingJas! I'm very interested in this. I'm suprised BluePallie didnt say a thing. He works with TS exclusivly as well. I just bought myself a new cpu so I cant go and get that program yet but its on my want to do list now. Thanks again |

I'm keen to see what you think of it Angel. My first impression of it was that it seemed a bit expensive, but if it handles all those formats, then it may be a really useful application. |

Actuly I think the price is pritty fair. It's most sertanly better then others who want $5,000. ~Angel~ |

Then i'm happy for you. For games stuff, I find Milkshape and CharacterFX to be sufficient, and virtually free, which is hard to beat (well, if your using Blitz3D for coding anyways). I look forward to the Angel review! |

Ok, they now have a complete trial version available. The trial version allows you to do everything, including saving/importing, so it may be worth investigating: http://www.caligari.com/gamespace/evaluate.asp |
