When I first found out about CCN, this game programming forum was where I primarily drawn, as I thought most of the really good stuff would be in this forum. However, on the whole CCN board this is one of the slowest moving forums!

Yes, things have been VERY VERY slow here lately. Kinda good for me because I'm currently working in the middle of AOL's layoff fun. So far I'm still employed, but who knows what tomorrow brings?

I have done a lot of updates to UBB and such lately though and will be installing those things in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully that'll spark some more interest. I'm a little bummed that the Image of the Day feature isn't getting used...this was one of those things everyone asked for :/ Oh well, was a good learning experience.

Thanks for the topic start, Brian

Heya...well, just to bring you guys up to speed...layoffs have been completed at AOL. I was not laid off, but a number of friends were, including my cousin. It's been a rough few weeks going through this and I'm sorry I haven't done much in the way of updates here.

The good news is that I have been coding UBB a lot and am planning to install all of the UBB updates over the next few days. I did these while working on the BlitzCoder site. Was going to start it over here, but that community grew REALLY fast due to their normal home (the BlitzBasement) having problems. I was careful to code everything to ensure that it could work on both the CCN and BC sites though...just used BC as the testbed instead of CCN because more eyes were on it. So look for those updates here soon.

Next up is the teamarea stuff. whew.
