Hello,

Once again I've had time to work on my 2d ragdoll demo and have updated it

Following the first version of Stickman Steve, I had said that I would like to try and extend the project, and so I got some time and made version 2.

I removed the silly triangle head and put in elbow and knee joints. I also added a fair few hidden constraints which act on the limbs to make the skeleton look more 'realistic'. Programmed in C# and GDI+.

Here are some images:

Feedback always welcome.

yeah, it's for PC, you may need to download the .Net framework from Microsoft, please let me know if you needed to do this.

Which reminds me that last night I just realized that I need to do a Mobile phone version (J2ME), I have an older version of rope, box and a neat little bridge, but not ragdoll :P

I've goto get around to working on a screen capture and save class in J2ME so that I can take 'screenshots' of my J2ME apps and save them to png or whatever on the phone. Then I can post screenshots of the actual demos running and post them on my site with a download for the file as well.

Anywho, please let me know your thoughts of the demo... and yes I am considering what options (game ideas) I have for turning this into a playable game, but I know I still have a lot of things I need to figure out and get finalized before starting a games project.

*update*

I got a short amount of time last night to work on the stickman steve demo and I've started to make it a little more object based.

I'm also going to rename this as I found out the other day there is already a game called 'Stickman Steve' and I would like the opportunity if need be to be able to just create these demos leading up to a series of games (probably freeware).

Any feedback on version 2 would be much appreciated.
