AND READY TO STAY!!!!! I don't know if you remember me, if the old guys I knew here are STILL here, but to any and all who know/knew me, I'm back! My programming skills all but obsolete and outdated, but my mind is still brimming with ideas! My whole life has been jumping around from hobby to hobby (now I'm doing lots of flash animation) but video games has a hold on me. Though I can't program them to my liking, I'm going to give it a shot! I'm hoping to soon get started on a 2-d platformer game, which I have been thinkin about for a while to be titled "Leroy the unhappy robot" I want to make this the best I can. I'm back! and comin' along strong! ------------------ |

Welcome back Realm Master! I don't think we've met, but I do recall reading some of your posts as I have searched the boards. I'm intrigued by your "Leroy the unhappy robot" idea. I think the title is really cool. God Bless! ------------------ |

Hey Realm, what are the specs of your new laptop? Does it have a wow factor? Or is it hidden behind amazing usability? ------------------ "Oh, bother," said the Borg. "We've assimilated Pooh." Open source, open mind. |

quote: A 700mhz processor, Realm, is about what the iPod Classic has. What you probably have is a 160GB, 7200RPM hard drive. I'm guessing your processor is something along the lines of an Intel Celeron 1.6Ghz or an Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz.

Workin' on some "graphic scetches" for Leroy the Unhappy Robot. put them up here soon for judment, along wiht character descriptions. Like I said, its going to be a good-old 2d platform game, complete with a wacky storyline that invovles a futre filled with happy robots hapily doing their dastardly happy deeds. ...But thats not real happyness is it? (YOUVE BEEN TEASED!) Some tile code (BB3D or BB+ if you have that, or just methods for using and implementing tiles) storyline cominc soooon to a thred nr u. (...what?) ------------------ |
