No, the title is not a joke. No it's not one of my humorous ranting blogs. I am actually married.

Friday 24th August at 12:30 pm Laura and I were married.

We intentionally kept it very hush hush, telling only our immediate family and no more. The attendance was parents only. Followed by munchies at Laura's sister's house were she iced and decorated a beautiful chocolate cake.

Pics will follow as soon as I have them.

Congratulations, skynes.

It feels like I almost never hear about marriages anymore. In fact, I hear more about gay marriage rights than I do about people actually getting married.

You're the beacon of hope for today. :P

Yup.

Kudos, skynes. (For not spending thousands on the wedding like my cousin did)

Sounds like a nice, simple wedding. Was it like a chapel wedding or did you go someplace fun for the ceremony?

Wow - Congrats.

I don't know you but I will offer you advice I would give to any newlyweds as well as my prayers for your union.

Foremost, commit yourself to Christ daily - both of you. Then commit to each other completely. Let nothing separate you two.

God bless you both.

We got married in Carrickfergus Town Hall. the simple approach.

Our fun activity was the next day where we and our friends went to a LAN Cafe and spent about 8 hours playing all manner of games.
