There is a chance meeting of CCN/CGDC people tomorrow in Eugene, Oregon at 2 pm at The Beanery (a coffee shop) on 5th street. If anyone happens to live close by, come on down and hang out with us. This is SO cool! I plan to be there. I'll bring my camera too. I'm assuming it's still at 2 PM. Please fill us in if any plans change.

We should all wear sandals and go to a protest in the true Eugene spirit. I think I know of a protest steveth45 might like to go to tomorrow .

Clint/Jennifer - I doubt I'll be able to get there tomorrow.

I hope you had a good visit and pray for safe travels back to IN.

God bless,
Tim

I would have loved to come but I just saw this last night. I don't think I can be down there by 2, I'm all the way up in the Seattle area. Would have been perfect, I could have checked out the University of Portland campus... Oh well, maybe (next time?)

That was pretty awesome!

It was really cool to put more faces with some names.

Attendees: Cohort X, steveth45, hanclinto & tonnyx, ssquared, Matt Langley & his wife, and Ben G. (who works at GarageGames).

I think HanClinto or ssquared will upload pictures sometime soon to commemorate this historical event. Clint looks a little busy at the moment - he's playing Contra with Cohort right now.

We met at the Beanery, hung out for a little while, then walked over to GarageGames where Ben gave us a tour. Then we hung out and played Wii Tennis and Resistance: Fall of Man. HanClinto and I were soundly whipped by steveth & Ben. Lots of fun.

Tomorrow we're planning on trying out a church with Ben & Matt.

3 macs and a pc: $5000
1 expensive camera: $1300
8 hackers acting goofy: Priceless

If I'm not mistaken, Ben G. is crosseyed in that picture. Very nice. I like that had Clint is wearing. Awesome
Cohort looks perfect for a spy movie, and Steve has long hair that reminds me of Steve Jobes in the movie 'Pirates of Silicone Valley'. This is great stuff =P

[edit]Heh, I didn't get the connection till just now. Steve Jobes, Seteveth45. Nice.[/edit]

Strange, because Steveth45's avatar always made me think he was bald.

He looks like one of those Western Christianity ideals of Jesus.

Except that he's carrying electronic equipment.

Not just Oregon, but the same little city, too. Not sure where Cohort works, but the rest of us work within 1/4 mile from each other. It's pretty cool to have so many CCN'ers around.

Sorry you had to wax the jet. Would have been great to have you stop by.

What I don't understand is why he didn't have the slaves wax the jet.

Oh they were, that's why I couldn't take it. I was considering the other jet but I remembered the Mrs. had to take it somewhere, something to do with the Queen, something like that.

Maybe I'll just have to move. You guys should do this type of gathering more regularly.

I work in an even tinier town with 2.19% of the population of eugene. But I do live in the emerald city with the rest of ya'll.
