well if you have an algorithm that translates mandarin to english then be my guest, lol. from what i've heard, "mother" is the same word as "horse", its just pronounced differently |

Well, that is true, but fortunately it written differently as well. So, theoretically it could be translated. Its mostly the languages idioms that break computer translation. Either that or context, like the classic news headline. SHIP SINKS TODAY Is this a disaster at sea, or a company mandate to roll out a new product? Either way seems like more of a job for Human Computation.
