Err.. New Member, but anyway, I'm a new member here, and wanted to make an announcement. Some info about me, I started looking at this forum about 6 months ago, and was real into it, but then because of business I got distracted, and have been away for about a month. My name is Mene-Mene because that is the first two words in the writing on the wall, and also because their meaning is very game like. Which means that your days are numbered, and your kingdom is about to be lost basically. I am a Game programmer (Duh) and have made 2 full games.

I like SW alot, and have written 3 of my games about it. I started programming in December of '04, but "Much to learn I still have". I program in BB, and B3d, only demo's sadly. I am younger than most if not all of the people I've seen on this forum. That's all I got for you today.

I am on the Star Wars forums sometimes and forget myself. SW = Star Wars I'm 11.

Member Notes:
Ereon: New avitar! I kinda liked that old one though.
Lava: New Avitar! I like the new life.
BuddBoy: I want PI! Oh, well, I was hoping I could get that as my Avitar. Sniff Sniff.

Okay, so I like the old stuff. But anyway, I'm here.

Some more Experience Info, recently started looking at Wings3d, and doing some models. I learned BB from Game Programming for Teens book FWI.

Wings3D is awesome to make models with Blitz3D. I use it all of the time with Blitz. If you ever need help with UV mapping in Wings, I recently made a tutorial:
http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/ubb-cgi/postdisplay.cgi?forum=Forum5&topic=0002 13

And feel free to ask me questions that the tutorial doesn't cover, and I will answer to the best of my ability

Game Programming for Teens? I got that same book! It's pretty cool huh?

I hope you have a great time here!

Yup -- Elkhart is about an hour or two from Fort Wayne, depending on what sides of town you're travelling between.

And yes, that's how you spell her nickname.

Sure it does! My web browser gives me a cookie every time I visit a website!

Yeah, a cake probably wouldn't do too well, especially one with 175 candles.

Welcome Mene-Mene, I've been around a while, not as long as some of the old phogeys here.

I personally know very little coding, I'm here for the discussion and to help people out with projects if I can.

I also am a fervent SW fan, lol, but I prefer the old movies, 4-6.

Well, that's all from me. BTW, I am not in the 11-17 Age range, lol, they don't allow people that young at college.

It was lousy, but thanks for asking. I came out of it a millionaire though, and enjoying my old age.

This guy once asked me about how I got all my money, so I gave him this narrative in the third person. It explains things.

A young man asked an old rich man how he made his money.

The old guy fingered his worsted wool vest and said, "Well, son, it was 1932. The depth of the Great Depression. I was down to my last nickel."

"I invested that nickel in an apple. I spent the entire day polishing the apple and, at the end of the day, I sold the apple for ten cents."

"The next morning, I invested those ten cents in two apples. I spent the entire day polishing them and sold them at 5:00 pm for 20 cents. I continued this system for a month, by the end of which I'd accumulated a fortune of $1.37."

"Then my wife's father died and left us two million dollars."

So now you know.

Thats NOT a movie

definition of movie from Merriam Webster:

1 : MOTION PICTURE

2 plural : a showing of a motion picture

3 plural : the motion-picture medium or industry\

I guess it counts then, huh?

If I could, I would either close, or delete this thread, now all its doing is being spammed.

MIB: You seem to be spamming alot of other threads including this one, try to make your own topics if you want to talk about a subject, rather than talking about it in someone else's thread, make your own. If you absolutely must talk in a pre-existing thread, talk in the pre-designated spam/off-topic thread.

Well, If I understand Spam correctly here, its used as a term for off-topic talking. And if you made a thread about your subject, then it wouldn't be spam, because it would be on-topic.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone.

Max: She does do it sometimes, but not like a chafeur. Allthough because of the age difference, sometimes playing together is very easy.

crazyish one: She doesn't really go out of her way, but when no other transport is available (aka. Mama, and Papa) she is "told" to drive me there. Sometimes if she is going somewhere, I'll ask to come along, and sometimes she'll let me. We have a good relationship overall. But she doesn't really drive me to the mall if I want to go to the mall.

A funny story:
My mom was doing some last minute Christmas shopping at the mall on the week of Christmas. Wouldn't you know it, I asked my sister to take me to the before-said mall at that time, seeing as I hadn't been to the mall in a while, and just wanted to go. (You know those random wantings) I'm afraid I might be teased about it for the rest of my life, because I wanted to go to the mall on the week of Christmas.

Max: Wow, thats nice of you. How many siblings do you have?
