alright, after a long wait since the Smiley War and the LOTR:5th Age battle, from the genius minds of Cheese, Max, Goop, Kiwee, (others) and me (of course), comes the Mythic Stick Tournament
This is kinda of a "teaser" trailer that a couple guys here and I are making.
the final project will have programmed rules and mechanisms, and cooler skills and stuff. takes this concept into an MMORPG, but this is type of game is the inspiration for it and it'd be good to keep a small part of it alive.

pretty straightfoward. design your char, and send it off to battle.
it is, however, on my forum ( www.soterionstudios.com/phpbb/index.php )
link is:
http://www.soterionstudios.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=12

read the rules, sign up and design a char.

cuz, well, if you don't, you'll leave me hanging and I'll feel bad and become an emo.

do you really want me to rock out to My Chemical Romance? Do you?!?

Char designed and posted, although I hope no one's eyes are permanently damaged by my horribly pixel art.(actually it barely qualifies for the title art)

well, it'd be like the smiley war, i guess, teambased and tournament style.

I mean, if it really takes off, we might continue the battles. but, yeah. we'll see how this one turns out.

Okay, then I'll change that to Lock him in the closet. But if that wouldn't work(probably not)-

You could break into the principal's office and steal the plans for the building, then find the breaker box on that and first turn the computers back on, then place an electrical barrier around the box so no one can access it.

yeah, don't if you have problems with magic.
however, this game, and the MMORPG in construction, are both mythology/fantasy and have a good amount of magic use.
course, you don't need to use them (ala warrior class) but, don't go against your conscience.

pretty cool flash, RM.

Well let's get on with it, because...
"It's clobberin' time!"

I sincerely hope noone minds me using that line or using that pic from Wesnoth for my char.

Because if you do - guess who is going to get clobbered?

sry budd. I asked cheese before your post and I needed Lazarus's greek warrior. Solneif is a good guy (and a personal friend of mine), definetly a better strategizer than me.
He knows the game elements as well as I do, having been an essential role in creating them.

so, I'm pretty much saying I'm gonna fire pwn you.

sry, Ereon. teams are set and balanced almost a week ago. but don't worry. you've only missed the first one. it shouldn't last too long. these things never do.

Well, I tell you what Realm, you're getting pretty good with your animations, they're showing a lot of smoothness and professionalism, at least to my meager, untrained eye. The overall effect though is undeniably excellent and very aesthetically pleasing as a whole. (in refrence to all your recent cartoons)

Wow. Realm -- that's amazing. I am *totally* a fan of your work.

When you're working at Pixar or Dreamworks or something, if you could just send me an autographed printout of Buzz Lightyear or Shrek or your latest creation that is the next digital superstar, that would be very very cool.

Thanks in advance.

--clint

Edit PS: Are you using a tablet or a mouse for your drawings? I only ask because the smiley face in the first frame is really quite good if you're only drawing with a mouse.

Where are the brave warriors of the Cerulean Twilight? (sarcastically)
Are they at home hiding behind their wives, or under the bed?
Perhaps they are getting together provisions so they can escape to a far distant country!

Run as you may, the Order of the Gryphon will find you and destroy you.
May it last forever!!!!

that's right... kiwee is the father of the forum wars.

man, these things get chaotic and more competitive as time progresses.
first one was rather laid-back.
second, we had a couple bouts where some people were online together posting. not too much of a problem with overlap of post. maybe once.

this game... man. I had to pause everything, and take an hour to go through each post and order everything up. We had like 4-5 people posting all at once.
you look at your post, post your reply, only to find 3 posts before have killed ya.
new rules are to be implemented.
