I know backing up code when tweaking it is one of my weaknessess.

I created Pythoin simple versioning system (about a page of code) and posted it to the misc code section.

If you use a script - I strongly reccomend adding it to that script.

It creates a directory based off the tics clock so unless you run it more than twice in 1/60th of a second you are good. Copies everything in it's directory to that directory - simple saves your data.
