Clint is correct, we have some scholarships available that will cover the registration fee - but they don't cover lodging nor travel. If you feel the Lord leading you to come, check with your local church for assistance. There are about 65 registered so far. Tim ------------------ |

doh, not covering travel lol, that'd be awesome, I live in Australia, and thats the one thing holding me back from going this year. I'm aiming to go next year (2007), it will be good to get around some Christian Game Developers. $80US for the 3 days is great!! I'm taking that it's US dollars, and thats not that bad either. The Australian Game Developers Conference (2005) was like $300AU for 3 day pass. Plus you had to pay for your own accomidation, so the whole trip would have been around $1,000AU (something like $760US). I had the chance to go to the AGDC but decided to save the $1k for something else, also the people I knew who went down only really just got drunk and partied, wasn't something I was interested in too much. ------------------ |

lol, gameace.org just says "Coming Soon!" so it's technically not down, just doesn't have anything on it. www.icdgda.org doesn't seem to work. ------------------ |

dartsman, i was suffering the same problem only 12 mere hours after i did some work on the site. apparently there was some work done at the server and after i rebooted my machine and got back online all worked fine. the link was supposed to be http://www.icgda.org - but that is no longer in use...go to http://www.gameace.org and you should see the goodness without incident  [This message has been edited by nfektious (edited May 20, 2006).] |
