wow awesome... can i say something? your page is a little cluttered, maybe making less stuff on teh front page and making more pages would help... just a little constructive criticism... like the marquee how'd you get the whole bible in there? ------------------ |

Yes, that IS somewhat impressive. Do you have the bible somewhere on your website that you use for all your bible related stuff? Also, if you made links to all the stuff like blogs, email, that stuff, I think that would be the better way to go, if you wanted to take buds advise. ------------------ |

I learned programming on a 64 kb Kayrpo with 5 1/4 drives that accepted floppy disks of I don't remember what kb capacity . The file that both Streaming Bible and Bible Verse Counter use is 4.5 MB. Imagine how much processor time, feeding of disks, and grinding of drives would have been required to do anything with that file. Probably the programming would have been much more clever! For the PHP program I used file-get_contents() and for the Java applet I used InputStreamReader(). You are both right about the cluttered page. When I started it it was minimal and neat, then I began adding things. At least I can get to everything with one or two clicks.
