Hi,

I'm almost done developing an animated 3D stained glass screen saver (WAY COOL!), and although it's not quite ready for people to see, the image editor (which is used to create images for the screen saver, and will be distributed for free with the screen saver) IS READY for Beta testing!

It's not as fun to use as it would be with the main screen saver to see your creations in action, but I would like some feedback on just the editor itself for now.

http://www.tegarttech.com/apps/sharded_prerelease1.zip

Please see the readme in the zip file for instructions. It's pretty simple. Also note: images generated with this version of the editor are NOT guaranteed to work with the final public release of the editor or the saver.

(Note: MeanManInOz, if you're still around here, do you recognize this? )

Works for me... Bit laggy though, but still well done!

Very cool, I enjoyed playing around with it.
Other than displayed the images created with the editor, what will the screensaver do? I'm guessing something with simulating light shining through, is that true?

It would be cool to have a floating palette window to easily grab and use favorites.

I new a guy who would print christian 'stained glass' images onto sometype of transparency film; frame them, then sell them. They looked pretty good - not sure how he did it.
