Yeah -- if you use Firefox, get the extension ChatZilla -- it's what I use for my IRC client, and it's fantastic!  --clint |

Once you have Chatzilla installed, you can type irc://irc.freenode.net/ into your Firefox nav bar, and it will open up Chatzilla and connect to the Freenode network. Once connected, you can type /join #ccn-chatzone and you'll be in! Then you can right-click on the #ccn-chatzone tab that should have opened up, and click "Join this channel on startup", so that now when you open up Chatzilla in the future, it will automatically connect to Freenode and join #ccn-chatzone.
