okay so i had a book idea (christan) that i mIGHT be able to turn into a game... its not fully thought through, but i think its a good idea. enough chit chat, here it is: its some time in the future (no space travel ot mars or that stuff, but a resonable future) and religion has dissapeared. Science and corrupt governments have driven all religion into extinction thinking that it would make a better world. But they have also erased christianity. Now the world is corrupt, blood-thirsty leaders struggle for power, gangs controll the streets and rebellions end in either bloody defeat or even more corrupt governments. Races who controll governments oppress the other races, tows are poor, the government cares only for iteself. Police stand and watch as gangs kill in borad daylight, the police joined only for the power. Robberies are all too common. And, in a small sub-urban town one old man looks on it all: and Prays that God can fix it all. He is the last of the christans, the last of religion. but he is old and can hardly even get out of his house. Then, one night a new gang takes over the town, killing, looting and slaying (okay, that was redundant). The police come, but they help the gang loot and kill, and only when they each try and take the loot for themselves do they begin to shoot at each other. Then one young man about athe age of 18-20 decides to ransak the old man's house. when the teen asks it the man has any valubals, he holds up a leather bound book and says it is is only valubal item. the teen shoots the old man and attempts to leave, thinking the book is worthless because of its age. then, however, he gets an urge to pick up the book, thinking "it just MIGHT be worth something". the title on the books spine is "The Holy Bible" the book follows the teen as he reads the book, thinking at first that it is a bunch of garbage, but eventually, he begins to belive.... i cant possible caputre the meaning of the book but i think its a good idea. (another part that i ahve given thought to is next) he takes the Bible to a "friend" of his to have them mass printed and given to everybody around, because he knows the Bibles are the key to peace again. but the government wants him, and pays the teen's "friend" to hand him over to the government, where he will be killed (debate on this point...) but, as his "friend" leaves the house of the teen, he takes one of the mass-printed Bibles, thinking that he would find out what made this books so important ot the teen, and then ransome it back to the government for a very high price, since they wanted it so bad... then, the story goes on from there.

I think it could be a good book, but I think you do need to do a little revising and editing. Sounds GoOd. |

I think it has the potential of being a good book, and maybe has the potential of being translated into a game, but like CWC said you would need to revise and edit what ya got. But congrats, sounds like you have a solid idea to work off of. If the foundation is solid then there is no reason you cannot see this through. The book I wrote was very rough draft the entire way through, all 59 chapters, and now that I have the solid foundation of the story down I am going back, with help, to edit and make it better. So I look forward to hearing how this project goes, or what not. ------------------ |
