Hello.
I just released the editor demo for the Christian MMORPG on windows.
You can edit maps, GUI's and RPG stuff with it. The editor is a modified version of the editor that ships with torque gaming engine. http://www.garagegames.com/mg/projects/tge/

You can also test the "BibleCardGame" which is just simble card placing to table right now.

It can be downloaded from: http://koti.mbnet.fi/therpgs/editor/editor.zip (below 7mb)

Please read more from:
http://koti.mbnet.fi/therpg/forum/post.php?fid=1&cat=2&pid=4&page=1

And please join the forums for discussion at http://koti.mbnet.fi/therpg/ if you are interested.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Thanks and have fun!

Jari,

Looks great!

Is this done with Torque? It looks really good.

For anyone interested, here are some screenshots:

Great job! It was a little dauntingly complex for me to try and create in without a tutorial. If I had more time, I think I could sit down and figure it out though. I'm impressed!

Thanks HanClinto but I am bit embarrased now because I forgot to mention one thing. I haven't done the map editor. (Maybe you knew that?) That's part of the torque engine I am using. I have only modified the engine and the editor to be a MMORPG engine.

See: http://www.garagegames.com/mg/projects/tge/

I better edit the first post to clear things up.

Oh and there is documentation for the mission editor which I renamed to "zone editor":
http://www.garagegames.com/docs/tge/general/ch04.php

Well I'm glad you like it anyway. And thanks for the screen shots!

Yep it's free.

And every one is welcome help in the map making as well in any other area of the game. Btw.

The engine code itself isn't free though, since you need to have license in order to view it. (100$)
But scripting doesn't require anything.

Errr, sounds like you are using some of the actual torque engine tools - I would be surprised those are free to use???

Hi Rhy.
The level editor that I have released can be released if you build it from your own source code like I have done. It's just the source code that is licensed per programmer.

I noticed that the NPC template editor didn't work properly since some scripts we're missing. It's fixed now and the download link is the same. Nothing too fancy about the template editor, it's basically an NPC editor but you can use the definition for multiple NPC so I call it template.

What's the RPG about, or have you gotten to that part yet?

Hi lava. If you mean what's the story then no there isn't a main story yet and I'm not sure should there even be since the theme in this RPG is adventuring and exploring.
Here's link to the design documentation: http://koti.mbnet.fi/therpg/docs/design/documentation.htm
It's not a final documentation but more like a plan file for the first milestone.
