It does indeed look like an RPG Maker game, can't tell which version of RPG Maker, though. ------------------ Switch Mayhem now available! Get it here |

Thanks, this game is alot fun. I like the story so far. I played for about 30 min, and made it to the second town an found someone I was suppose to find. Of course, stupid me did not save the game, and when I tried to enter w weapons shop, an npc was in the doorway and the game froze. Oh well, I might start it up again. I didn't know what RPG Maker was, I looked it up. This game was made with RPG Maker 2003 because the battle scenes are sideview. |

A very nice game, indeed. I think I'm about as far as the previous respondant, but I didn't run into the same problem. My only issues with it begin with the font ('f', 't', and 'l' letters all look the same, so when I first saw that the main character had a special "gill" I was very confused as to where the story was going; other characters, like 'r' maybe, look kind of funny). The other major one is a speed issue: running on my Celeron 466MHz, the world map scenes are painfully slow. About a half second between steps, very jerky, gave me mild motion sickness. Either way, it's a fine game, so keep up the good work. |

Hi, I haven't tried it yet but it looks interesting. Will give it a look when I can. On a side note, I want to create a 2D map, something like what you've done (just graphics, not object characteristics or anything). I considered maybe just plonking myself down in front of Warcraft 2 and building a map with the editor, and then screengrabbing everything, but does anyone know another way to do it? Perhaps a program that comes with a free tileset without any legal limitations on their use? |
