Dispite what some people like to do on this day, St. Patrick's day is not about drinking. St. Patrick was actually a missionary to Ireland. He was a roman by the name of Patricius. There may be been prior missionaries, but the records are unclear. The symbol of the shamrock represents the trinity. St. Patrick used this native plant to teach about God. ------------------ |
