The new Paladin Games site is up at Paladin Games It took us a little over a month to revamp everything, and we are starting on our first game called "Finding Faith". It's going to resemble the old old classic Nintendo style Zelda game, except this will be a total Christian game. We look forward to the coming months.

We'd like to get in the Christian Web Ring here as we plan on keeping our site updated often.

Cool site(!) you should have 'Finding Faith' above 'Breakage' because it's your current title and you want to draw attention to it.

I like the Paladin Games logo, nice style. What tool are you using to make your game?

BluePaladin,

I just wanted to complement you on your new site. The Logo is great, and your new game sounds interesting

@Mack, you are right, and we will make that fix asap. Oh and btw, I hope you didn't mind me linking to you. This place is a great resource and I'd want people to be able to find it.

@ArchAngel, I have no idea . You'll have to ask Crakr on that one. He did the basic logo design. I added the white glow so it would stand out. (I think) I hope he just shaped a standard cool looking sword to make the logo. The curved hilt matches well with the "G" in Paladin Games however.

Man, thanks for the complements! Myself and Crakr put it all together. I am a Photoshop guy myself. We built the site with C# and VB.NET

The website is in VB.NET and the administration piece to it is in C#.

We are looking forward to our first game now. Thank you so much for the complements. All the hard work seems to be worth it all. We hope to get our site in the Christian gamers web ring and have updates at least weekly.

Linking to me would be pointing to the Two Guys Software website and not the Christian Coders website. I don't own or operate the CCN website I'm just modding it (like Klumsy) and Krylar runs/owns the CCN website, I don't think he would mind however and I feel we always need more traffic coming in here so thanks!

Ahh, ok. no prob. You'd think I'd know that. If you would like me to link to your site, I have no problem with that as well.

@Angel, I don't think I have an official member list on the site yet. That page will exist in time. Myself and Crakr did a "Why we do what we do" statement, but that's about it.

Slower than I'd like. I'm building a tile system for the game. Dungeon editors and world editors as well. I just need more time. I have the vision, but it seems the devil doesn't want me to have the time to make it real. I push forward for the prize, sometimes so weary, I almost fall asleep at the computer. Plus before that, I'm a Follower of Christ, my family (2 boys and 2 dogs and a wife), and work. I have alot more to do for my Lord with my life. I just want it to come quicker. Pray for wisdom and understanding for myself as I learn.

I have a good book on TileMaps and a set of basic tile game code. I just have to convert it to C# from C++ and hope the performance is good, then expand it, because the example is very basic and lacking in quite a few features, but it should make for a good foundation.

Thank you all so much for the compliments.

To defend my honor as a graphic artist and a huge LOTR fan...
I have posted a pic of Glamdring compared to the sword I used as my base.
Sword Comparison

I know it is no big deal, but I just thought I would share.

Thanks again.

but none the less, LOTR ROCKS!
