My first article is finished!!! It's a bit of a monster, I tend to go overboard with explanations sometimes. The code itself isn't that big though, so it should be good for others to learn with. I think it turned out great, I wish there was an article like this on the web when I started developing screen savers. Follow up articles have been started, the MFC one should be ready in a few more days. EDIT: Doh! Krylar, none of my pics are working, and the .zip download doesn't work either, even though everything was working in preview mode before I published it. Can you figure out what's wrong? Thanks. Yay! Any programmers reading the article through: I'd be interested in knowing if it's too hard, too easy, too long, any problems, etc. Working on the next one... [This message has been edited by BrianT (edited June 02, 2003).] |

I agree. I just read through the article and it's very well done. I'll have to give writing one a shot as soon as time permits Thanks! -Krylar ------------------ |

Thanks guys. But I'm not leading the way or anything, there's already lot of other great articles put up by other people. I'm just thankful to Krylar for making this all possible in the first place, and for now implementing the article submission stuff that makes it even easier to create articles. |

Awesome! Note that almost all programming languages accept commanline arguments, so this can be applied to any programming language . ------------------ |

I'd probably be making a screensaver... but, as with Krylar, I'm a little busy. ------------------ |
