Hiya, I've been travelling with George Bray from Idigicon all week and he is interested in talking with anyone that is working on educational software, applications, and games that are family-friendly. He has expressed an interest in Christian-themed software as well. If you're interested in pursuing options, please email George at george@idigicon.com and tell him that Krylar sent you. For a little background: I have been working with George and Idigicon for about 3 years now. They published a book of mine on 2D game programming (and I'm working on other stuff with them as well). They are a small publisher, and I have always found them to be upfront and honest and to work with developers on mutually beneficial deals. All the best, -Krylar ------------------ |

Thanks Krylar, I'm working on a 3d graphics application, perhaps they would be interested. |

Hiya, George is actually sitting here with me now (cause he and I were doing BlitzCon's across the USA over the last week) and he says he's definately interested in talking with you. He'll be back in the office (in the UK) next Tuesday, but he'll certainly have a million emails to catch up on. Please do email him, one and all, if you have an application or game you're looking to get published. He's a good guy and I've found Idigicon to be a great company to work with. All the best with your application! -Krylar ------------------ |

Krylar, Thanks for this information, I'm very interested! Especially since he said educational software--that's my main focus, mostly 2D educational arcade games about math and grammar. Right now I'm close to finishing the main features of a defense-style game about punctuation and capitalization, and after that I will be doing a space-themed math game. I will definitely contact him, because I've done shareware before, but lately I've been wondering a lot about retail publishing. It's great to know that someone is looking for ed software too! Thanks, Curry |

Sorry, but I just had to dig this one up. You see, coincidentally, someone recently passed on details of my latest writing project to George, and apparently he's quite interested from a publisher's point of view. I'm probably going to name-drop 'Krylar' when I speak with him, so Krylar, you've been warned! |

Not yet. I'm waiting till I've got a little more content together. After my original post though, I did a bit of research and couldn't find many books under Idigicon's belt (apart from yours). I'm probably more interested in mainline publishers, but beggars can't always be choosers, so we'll see. |

Most certainly more of a software publisher than a book publisher. I don't know that they do anything further than technical book publishing (except in rare circumstance). Fiction isn't there market. I was more stating that they're always on the lookout for good applications/games software. Sorry for the mixup! -Krylar ------------------ |
