I guess this cracks open how far we are in Eternal War development, but that’s alright, I’m glad people are still interested in the now completed project (keep on e-mailing me!). Currently we are going over ordering styles for Eternal War, for certain we are going to have money orders (for those who don’t have a credit card) and right now we are going over the aspect of credit card ordering online. We seem to be running into problems with that aspect because the different companies we looked over keep on adding charges or things to the agreement that we don’t agree with. My question is, how many of you will be ordering Eternal War via credit card?, and do you think credit card ordering is necessary? To bring up an old question again, the reason why Eternal War probably won’t be showing up on a lot of store shelves is because of it’s content. We’ve been told before that the story is too realistic, the enemies and environments too frightening, the combat too strong, on the other hand 19 new shots on the site, check them out! ------------------ |

Congrats on finishing!! Credit card is faster and more desirable, but I don't usually care about the method of buying things. Can't wait to check out the demo. What about releasing a trailer or something early? Nice shots Only counted 17 though. I like this one best: ------------------ |

Thanks for your input! The screenshot you picked was taken last night durning a heated round of Flood Co-op (hardest difficulty, 5-6 bots in the game helping me out), I'm in a 3rd person cam view in the shot (I'm the guy in blue) with two 'scouts' on either side of me. If you look right ahead of me you can see one of our bots ready to lay some holy smack down on a demon. :P ------------------ |

We might consider doing a trailer, depends on how much time we have. ------------------ |

Mack, Paypal may be an option for you. The customer can pay via a credit card, and their rates are much lower than other's I've seen (and I've looked a LOT). They even support shopping carts and direct wire to your bank. They also will soon be supporting multicurrency. As for not getting it on shelves because it "is too realistic, the enemies and environments too frightening, the combat too strong", personally I think that is ridiculous. Games much more realistic/frightening/strong are all over the shelves - in fact I have to work hard to find something not too realistic/frightening/strong so my kids can play it. Sounds to me like the people who are telling you that are trying to make an excuse for something else. It makes no sense not to market a game because it is too realistic. The more realistic, the better - that's why we're playing Unreal 2003 on 3D-accelerated video cards today instead of Tank War on an Atari 2600. The screenies look great, can't wait for the demo. |

We've been checking over alot of the options people have been talking about, as well as undergoing several talks to see if we could set something up that would be more benifical for TGS.
