Hi all. I'm poping out of "uber-lurk mode" to make an important personal announcement. After a year of development, my youth group's website is finally up and running! I had to code and design it all myself, because no one else had the time and/or ability to do it. The site is http://gen3day.org If nothing else, at least look through the "Fun Stuff" and "Links" sections. Because those sections are more universal, and don't require you to be a member of my church for it to be relevant to you. Feedback, whether in the form of compliments or (constructive) criticism, would be greatly appreciated. Also please report any bugs you happen to see (although there shouldn't be any, as I checked it very thoroughly). Thanks! †Caleb† ------------------ |

Nice clean and uniform site The only critique I could offer is that you could make your picture file sizes smaller on some of the pages. BlazeQ ------------------ |

Which ones? I did the best I could to compress the JPGs while retaining quality as well. †Caleb† ------------------ |

I think it was only on the Service Info page. Here's an example with one of them: New: Oh, I forgot to say, I like the intro to your site. It's a Java applet, right? ------------------ [This message has been edited by BlazeQ (edited September 29, 2002).] |

Why yes, thank you, it is a java applet. I didn't code that one though. Had to pay 20 bucks so that I could use the thing on the website without having popups come up when you click on it. Oops, you're right. I guess I missed that section because it was one of the first pages I made when I started on the project (which was about nine months ago). I'll fix it. <fixes it> Done. Thanks. Anyone else? †Caleb† ------------------ |

The site is looking good Caleb. I am disappointed though ... I figured this page would be more populated! http://gen3day.org/webpages/ChristianComputerLinks.html -Tim ------------------ |

Oops. <ducks and hides for cover> I guess I just figured everyone would find the other Christian game links through CCN. I'll add Revelator Games, it has links to just about everyone else. †Caleb† ------------------ |

Thanks The picture is one of the submissions I received from David Bradshaw, one of many talented Christian artists that use the digital medium. You're right, the message board needs some more people ------------------ |
