Man...why is that thing (the green smiley face) crying? Crying is so bad-it like soils the nearby furniture with salty wet goodness. But, you will all NOT CRY if you check out the EW screenies they are very cool and carry the official semi sonic ZOOKEY seal of approval. so, if you do not check them out, stock up on Kleen-ex so you have something to mop up all those regretful tears. This advertisement was made by my total lack of fear of looking stupid on a message board-have a nice day ------------------ |

Yo mack, I dunno about you but I am starting to feel REALLY LONELY in this message room with only you and me talking about the new EW screenies-maybe some of the other CCN members should check out the awesome screenies and give us complements on them so I do not loose about 12 minutes of sleep (I would lose more, but I am a HEAVY sleeper). Cmon guys, check them out you won't regret it! ------------------ |

I've checked them out They're real cool looking. The atmosphere reminds me of Quake 1. I like the lighting on the pic 3rd down on the left. *thumbs up* One thing though, what's up with the different types of hands? BlazeQ

I read the interview, and it's great Mack that you want to make your game for a lower spec machine. I wanted to play ominous horizons and the one before it, but my AMD 433 just couldn't keep up the pace. (It's a laptop with 96 meg RAM and an ATI basic 8meg 3D card) If you can get your game working for a PII 233 plus 3D card or even a PII350, that would be great. I think there are still losts of people who don't have the money to buy a more powerful beast to run some of these games. Revelator! ------------------ |

We'll most likely be running tests on machines from 166mhz/32meg ram/2nd generation vid. card and above. Our hopes are to keep the specs as low as we can for Eternal War. As with all our projects, we want to offer some sort of way to reach as many gamers as we can. |

OpenGL rendering. Resolution support: 320x240 - 1280x960 Some engine features: Millions of colours, texture sizes any range The beefer system you have, the crisper the game looks, the faster it runs, and the higher the resolution can be cranked. |
