Hiya, If you're using IE you should nuke your bookmark to the CCN and reset it because one of our members, "rowanseymour", put together a tiny bookmark image for IE. Looks pretty cool! Big thanks to Rowan for the help -Krylar ------------------ |

OK, now you must tell us how this was done. I've been wanting to do this for my own page for a while now, but I haven't figured out how. Brian |

Rowan created a 16x16 graphic as an icon and then told me to put it in the root directory of the CCN, and save it as "favicon.ico". Apparently IE will automatically cache the "favicon.ico" and then plop into the favplaces icon spot when a person favplaces the site. Cool, eh? -Krylar ------------------ |

Hey - it does look great. I always wondered how that was done. Revelator! ------------------ |

Hey, It even works in the Links Menu! Cool! I knew how to change it but could only pull up local icons. Even now, if you try to open http://www.christiancoders.com/favicon.ico - it yells. Thanks Rowan! Tim ------------------ [This message has been edited by graceworks (edited May 30, 2001).] |

If anybody's interested, favicon.com has a Java icon editor, some free icons and details of how to use them on your site. [This message has been edited by AndyBoy_UK (edited June 04, 2001).] |
