Valkyri: (Cool name BTW) I'm kind of new here, so I haven't met you before. I was wondering if you could clear up what CCNA is, if you don't mind my naiveity it reminds me of Christian Coders Netword Association, but I'm almost sure its not that.

Sam: I seem to have found the same game...

Here is the link to some pictures on my server (crossing my fingers that its properly up) )

http://tsuk0sa.dyndns.ws/

I don't truly know how long I will be able to keep these up, so please come by soon! Somebody seems to be wanting to mess up what i have up. So, please pray.

MM to answer your question I would have to say that to the best of my knoweledge this is a site where Christians and others (of course ) can get together and code, make games, talk about Christ, faith, and life in general. Oh and of course linux! ( Everybody else please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this. Me personally, I'm just trying to master linux (Kubuntu 6.06 LTS built with Debian 3.01 at its core ( from what I can tell)) I'm not that great at coding. I'm hoping I can use what I learn to help my church in what ways I can. At least that's where I feel led to go. Anyway, I digress. I hope I answered your question well enough! BTW thanks for the compliment!

God Bless!

Good to hear from you Valkyri. Kubuntu seems like worth to learn since it's free. But our church uses power point that runs on windows to display everything through a projector. Just a note, I dont know what your church uses.
But anyway.

God bless.

Hello again, sorry I have not replied back. Will be replying in other topics as time allows. CCNA1 is just awesome! I'm am loving it. My only complaint is the fact that the class is 4 hours long with just a 10 min. break. arrgh. must persevere. I'm am definately going to enjoy it. With it I hope I can put my skills to better use in someplace that needs me, wherever the Lord thinks I should go in the future. I have managed to get a fully working Samaba/DNS/Postfix/DHCP/Apache2/MySQL server with Snort 6.1. something running. Thankfully it's a tiny network! Still working on all the features of all the server programs since there's just so much information. Right now it's pretty basic. I'm still a ways behind on the command-line language. I've been using Webmin 3.310 as my shortcut to do this.

Jari my church uses Powerpoint too. Truthfully I have no idea where they would put me. Simply put, I just want to serve. I want to help. BTW, good to hear from you too! And hello to you too LAVA.

God Bless!

P.S. I'm doing this on the fly. but would yall know how to prevent this:?

This came from Snort. I suppose i should put that in a different topic.

wonderful news to original reason for this topic!

Dear Mr. Valkyri:

Thank you for contacting me regarding section 220 of the ethics reform bill (S.1). I appreciate having the benefit of your comments on this matter.

As you may know, Majority Leader Harry Reid introduced S. 1 on January 4, 2007. This bill contains text similar to S. 2349, legislation which did not gain full passage prior to the adjournment of the 109th Congress. Slight amendments to this version of the bill are designed to further strengthen earmark reforms and federal laws governing the interactions of lobbyists with lawmakers.

Concerns arose regarding a particular provision in the bill (Section 220) that would, for the first time, require citizen-driven, issue-advocacy organizations to register with the federal government in the same manner as Washington lobbyists. Section 220 would have required grassroots organizations to register as lobbyists if they spent more than $25,000 per quarter, and to pay exorbitant fines—up to $200,000—if they did not comply.

For this reason, I cosponsored an amendment introduced by Senator Bob Bennett (S. Amdt. 20) to strike section 220 from the bill. I am pleased to report that S. Amdt. 20 was approved by a vote of 55 to 43, and the offending provision was immediately removed from the bill.

Hearing from Americans is a key part of accountability, accessibility, and openness in government. I am encouraged that Congress safeguarded these important rights guaranteed by the Constitution and is allowing the Democratic process to continue unhindered. With my support, S. 1 passed the Senate on January 18, 2007, by a nearly unanimous vote of 96 to 2 and now awaits consideration by House of Representatives. I eagerly anticipate its quick passage in the House and signature by President George Bush.

I appreciate having the opportunity to represent you in the United States Senate. Thank you for taking the time to contact me.

Sincerely,

JOHN CORNYN
United States Senator

Praise God!
