I'd heard the study before that prayer does help, and I was skeptical of the study, I'm no less skeptical of this study... If that seems contradictory, let me explain
Its not one idea or the other that I'm really addressing, but rather that some group some where claims to have done a "scientific study" which provides meaningful information on the topic.
We live in a world where in order to say anything you need a "scientific study" to back it up and as a result, there are scientific studies to back up virtually every imaginable idea and view point. If you take any issue I would be willing to bet that you can find "scientific studies" which strongly support both sides (or all sides) despite them being totaly contradictory.
