I'm selling my copy of Visual C++ 6.0 via ebay. It's a great compiler, even though it's a little dated now. I'm selling it because I already own a more recent version. If you're new to C++ or looking to learn, this product is a great way to jump in. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7167229968 |

VC++ 6.0 is outdated? Wow... I thought they just never came out with a new one. Unfortunately I have VC++ 6.0 myself. ------------------

en972, no you can't do C# in this. Well, you could use the editor to edit your files, but you couldn't compile them with this version. You'd need the C# edition or the full Studio (which includes C++, C#, VB, J++, etc.). CPUFreak91, ya, it's no longer the newest version. .Net 2003 (i.e. version 7.1) is the latest, and 2005 is coming out some time this fall. But version 6.0 is still a GREAT and powerful compiler/editor/debugger, and is fully capable when it comes to developing regular Windows apps, like games and such. |

Could I use the IDE for C# and get a c# compiler to replace the c++ one? ------------------ |

Hi en972, I don't know how/if that could be done. It might be simpler to just look for the C# edition (on ebay or elsewhere). |
