I made a model this in blender and animated it with bones(it's exported to an .x file).![]() I can't seem to get it to play its animation in Irrlicht. Is there a funtion some where that enables skeletal animation? ------------------ "Never try to sneak up on someone who knows Martial Arts, is a Jedi, a Narnian Knight, and is standing in front of a mirror. The first thing to try is to use the Irrlicht example utility that lets you open mesh files and play back animations. If even that doesn't work, then it's almost certainly because of the many bugs in the Blender .X exporter. I've got an adapted version on my website that you're welcome to try to see if that helps you get a working .X file. ------------------ |

Thank, I'll try that. ------------------ "Never try to sneak up on someone who knows Martial Arts, is a Jedi, a Narnian Knight, and is standing in front of a mirror. Especially the last part." -Mene Mene |

It doesn't seem to be exporting the bones at all. ------------------ "Never try to sneak up on someone who knows Martial Arts, is a Jedi, a Narnian Knight, and is standing in front of a mirror. Especially the last part." -Mene Mene |

quote: I'd give my version a try - in the normal version of the exporter you need to mess around with parenting the armature to the mesh (maybe the other way around?) whereas mine supports the more modern method - can't remember if it's called modifiers or constraints, but whichever one it is! ------------------ |
