Hello, I used to be in contact with Jeff McArthur (guategeek) for a while on MSN, he did an awesome texture for me for my TooDTerrainGen program. But I haven't heard from him since I posted it up on my website a few weeks ago and just wondered if anybody is able to tell me if he is ok? I'm hoping he just got busy (hopefully not too busy) with things as I know he didn't have internet connection for a few days (a couple of weeks ago). I hope your ok... ------------------ |

Woah, he had a car accident?? I never knew, though I didn't really chat to him much until October. I was in contact with him from roughly start to mid October and lost contact from then until now. Well if you see or chat with him, please let him know I wish him the best and hope he is going well. ------------------ |

Man, I hope he is ok---how bad was the wreck? I know what that badness is like--I am up since 6 AM this morning due to car wreck injuries acting up, it is never fun (my case was an idiot rammed Mom and I while we were stopped at a stop light--she was doin' 40 dialing on a cell phone---like I said, idiot)--I hope Jeff's isn't too major--I know you said he was in surgery but still hopefully he isn't hurt ultra bad! Man, that'd suck having net down--I guess it shows how addicted I am but I would go insane!! ------------------ |

Yeah he's doing much better. It's been over 2 months now since the accident and surgery and he still can't do much physical stuff like gardening, carrying his Xbox 360 to lan parties and the like but he gets to church and his Dicipleship classes and group so he's content.  Btw, please do pray for his internet to come back or for God to provide the equipment and other stuff he needs... he's really hurting financially from many setbacks this year... including the time lost from the accident. ------------------ "Oh, bother," said the Borg. Hi guys Thanks for worrying about me As far as health recovering, I have had some intestinal pains and I'm going through 5 medical tests in the next few days to see what it is. But overall I'm doing well, can't lift heavy things as Joe mentioned but I'm up and about! The reason I disappeared from the internet was that coper is worth a lot these days. So someone stole about 90 meters of telephone trunk line (huge cables that cary 500 phone lines or more). Why would they steal it? Well they melt the plastic off and sell the coper. So it took the phone company a little under 3 weeks to fix the outage, I got my internet back today! sweet! well, his internet is up (or so it appears) and at least his fingers are still in fine contion! (The most used part of the geek body, as proven by many scientific reaserch...es...) ...your car on the other hand... well the important thing is your okay (or getting there) and you still have your life and limbs! ------------------ |
. I'm doing decent with regards to the car accident. It happened on September 1st and on the 2nd they found that I had a perforated intestine (caused from the impact of the seat belt on my gut). God was faithful though and that seat-belt saved me from a lot of worse options. Also now I have a nice little 6 inch scare down my stomach to remind me that I'm Gods and not my own. He kept me alive for a reason! There are pics of the car on facebook:
