Good day everyone. Some musician friends of mine are looking to put together a free Christmas CD and were wondering if anyone knew of someone who had free hosting (i.e. really free) that could handle zipped CD. These artists are some of the best musicians from around the world.

Thanks for you assistance.

Hey man! Why not try hosting them on MySpace under a musician account? You could make a holiday account for your friends and family and update it/change songs for every holiday--that would be kinda cool!

How much space and bandwidth would you estimate as being required?

We are looking at a 2-CD compilation - possibly several hundred downloads. Most free sites have lots of space but no bandwidth. It would be ready NOV 20 with 15-20 artists. I would think that 20GB bandwidth would be a good estimate but I really don't know.

Email Tim Emmerich or Bill Bean about using the GameACE host. We currently barely consume any of our bandwidth.

One of my servers has 2000 GB bandwidth/mo and the other has 800GB bandwidth/mo, I don't mind hosting for you guys. We could even through up a domain if you wanted.

Hey Ken,

I'll be sending you that FTP info either tonight or Friday (going to a concert tonight and not sure when I'll be home).

Hey Ken,

Did you get the FTP info??? I never heard back and notice there are no files uploaded yet! Give me a call sometime on Saturday man!

Call me on the number listed on www.DuckSoupCMMS.com - it will ring at my home/office desk as well as my cell phone.

Later,
Jeremy
