I know at least another coder who agrees with me on this. I really would like some good coding music that contains coding content. I would use Code Monkey as thats sorta what I'm thinking, but its not clean, and I want something at the last clean, and preferable like coding, and Godly.

I'd try to do something myself, but I officially stink at music as I've never really tried nor have the equipment, nor the desire. Anyway just through this out to all you GENIUSES out there.

You could use Audacity to white noise out the non clean content. After all, it's just a split second. Code monkey tell manager Rob to write <blank> code himself...

Just buy the Oblivion soundtrack and let your code practically write itself as Jeremy Soule's wonderful creations assault your eardrums...

I though code monkey was great...

You don't really need "coding" music or music about coding. Just whatever you like, espeically if it fits the mood of your game (or a part of your game youre creating)

Thanks,

If you want some coding music, how about listening to 10,000 lines of code over at last fm, its free and guaranteed to not cause tooth decay!

I listen to music at work while I'm coding but it's mostly stuff that's probably not deemed clean. (ex: Edguy, Megadeth, Metallica, ... )

<Thread_Hijacker2.0>

I'm looking for music submission for my new game:

Let me know if anyone is interested!!!

I like me some Metallica. Bah, music isn't unclean, it's people's hearts that are unclean. If you are worried what effect the music might have on you, just don't listen to bad music. For example, I don't listen to Jars of Clay while programming, because I'm certain it would introduce thoughts of suicide.

Right now, I'm digging on Black Moth Super Rainbow. It's crazy cool electronic indie psychedelia wierdness. Perfect for programming. I happened to see them play live, and then I had to buy the CD. I believe they are touring, you should catch a show if they come to your town.

I have found Trance and other variations of techno to be good coding music.
