Hey, I've finished coding my most recent game, Words of Light. I've just got some content creation left. Some other ideas for games aren't quite developed enough yet to start coding. And since I'm one of those twisted people who actually enjoy programming, I'm looking for a project that I can help out with.

C++ is my preferred language, but I know C#.
I have experience with Irrlicht, HGE, Torque, and SDL, but I'm willing to learn a new engine as long as I don't need to buy it.
I own Torque Game Builder (no source) and TGE 1.4 (with source).

If you have a project and are looking for programming help, please let me know.

Thanks,
Joe

Welcome to the forum filled with twisted people who actually enjoy programming.

I currently don't have an open project, but there should be some projects open.
CPU, is BibleDave in C++ or BB?

Actually Bible Dave is written in Python and uses the PyGame extensions. CPUFreak91 is always looking for help in getting that to a v1.0.

I think Jari's project is in C++.
Calin's is in C#.
HanClinto does a lot of work in TGB and C#. In fact his speed game was in Torque.

I'm not sure how much help they need. My current project is a 2d engine, not a game and its in java. It may not be up your alley, but let me know if you are interested. I do understand that most game programmers (especially those around here) are burnt out on writing game engines.

Thanks for the info. I know absolutely nothing about Python, so I am not sure about helping with Bible Dave.
I might be able to help with your engine, though, Sam. I sent you a PM. (Though I am more interested in helping with a game)

Hi tireswing,

this is my the project samw mentioned, if you want to take a look:
http://voiceofhisword.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=40&Itemid=48]VoHW

It has been idle for a while because I have been focusing on other project Darkening. But that needs more help in the graphics area. While VoHW needs c++ engince coding help and torque scripting help. It's using TGE.

Well if you are interested please send me PM or email (there's contact form at the site for email).

BB/B3d/BM is pretty easy to learn if you can handle C++ easily. I've got 2 projects in B3d, and BM. The First is in BM, and is Called The Well of Bethlehem. A bible game based on a tale of three of David's Mightiest men. Adino, Shammah, and Eleazar. It still needs lots of work, unfortunetly I can't pay directly but I can offer discounts. The Second is in B3d, and is still in the Womb. I'm working on creating a tech demo that will demonstrate interaction, combat, movement, and force powers. So far I've got 1 enemy model, and the playing field. But mostly I'm working on making a Pen-Paper version.
