last summer, i took a solidworks class, and i really liked it and everything, and at the end the teacher said there was a free trial version available. so i looked but i couldn't find it. does anyone know anything about this? like if there even is a demo, or if there is another modeler similar to it? ------------------ |

<sarcasm>You mean to tell me someone named "leet hacker" couldn't do a simple google search to get the demo???</sarcasm> Here's a google link: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=solidworks+demo - click on the first one in the list (not the sponsored link). You get a free demo CD of SolidWorks! |

yes i admit i didn't think of that. i am what you call absent-minded. i think that the demo cd is like demos of solidworks being done, not a trial version. thank you for thinking of that for me. ------------------ |

the closest i could find without going into Warez sites :shudder: was a Student Edition for $ 89.95. Problem is, it's only a 24 month license. |
