Trinity Powered Games is a start-up independent video game development studio located in Green Bay, WI. We are dedicated to creating high quality & immersive 3d action / adventure video games that are based on historical & biblical events.

Our current title is a first person action/adventure game set in Rome during the first persecutions of early Christians by the emperor Nero. Much of Rome burned in 64AD and Nero blamed the cause of the fire on a small underground religious sect (Christianity). Unbelievably harsh & torturous persecutions ensued, and both Peter and Paul were thought to have been martyred by Nero during this time. In the game, you start out as a rather nondescript character in Rome, but soon find yourself further and further involved with a major turning point in history- the very survival of Christianity.

Features:
- detailed story
- strong character development
- emotive, immersive & educational gameplay
- variety of environments (in & outdoor)
- large, open levels with multiple paths
- dynamic lights and shadows
- physically simulated melee combat system (no lame "hack & slash")
- melee and range weapons
- npc’s will react to your actions and decisions
- Rome recreated with historical detail

Please note that we are aiming for an authentic portrayal of an actual biblical/historical event. As a result this game will include violence and other adult subject matter. Any such subject matter, however, will be treated in a mature fashion and will have redeeming qualities. In other words, its not like Grand Theft Auto.

Please note that these currently are NOT paid positions. The founding members of Trinity Powered Games are expected to contribute their talents, time and effort with an eye toward ownership in a profitable development studio.

Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++.
- Knowledge of common data structures and algorithmic solutions.
- Write & maintain portable code.
- An avid gamer with a passion for creating great games.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Fully committed to long term projects.
- Able to give & receive constructive criticism.

Preferable:
- Computer Science Degree.
- Knowledge of 3d graphics and mathematics.
- Knowledge of 3d action/adventure gameplay & design.
- Experience with game editors such as Radiant or UnrealEd.
- Modding or total conversion experience.

Tired of dreaming about being a game developer? So were we until we decided to do something about it. Come join us! Please send cover letter, resume and applicable sample work or portfolio with the position title in the subject line to: jobs@trinitypowered.com

Suggestion: You should list all you positions, there are more skills in this community pool than just coders, or some that code but are more focused on other aspects of game development. Though, you will find artists just as elusive as always

Question: You are licensing UnrealED for this? A very hefty price tag considering that you are not offering paid positions. Would like to see some of your concept art or prototype renderings once you make that available, once you have it.

most likely unreal engine 2 runtime

which can be obtained from:
http://www.unrealtechnology.com/html/runtime/demo.shtml

Although, if you do have license for the UE3, I may be able to help out with Coding/Scripting...

EDIT: Well at least offer some advice (under NDA guidelines of course)..

Yes but under a non-commercial use license. No "ownership in a profitable development studio" if the license wont allow commercial use, at least as far as the demo at least. 8K isn't bad per seat, that would be like $32k + for a small team.

Money isn't too much of an issue once you have a decent game...

They could easily use the non-commercial, just run with it being a non-profit project, until they get investor/publisher on board to buy the licenses they require to go commercial...

EDIT: also, they've only just started up, so would most likely not be a profitable development studio, unless they already have a publisher/income already coming in...
