My site needs a good logo! If anyone would like to make one post it here. Please include something with computers in it (0's and 1's, computers, software, CD's, etc). So here's the requirments: You'll get credit for the logo too ------------------ [This message has been edited by CPUFreak91 (edited March 22, 2006).] [This message has been edited by CPUFreak91 (edited March 23, 2006).] [This message has been edited by CPUFreak91 (edited March 25, 2006).] |

I'll post one, but it will be hard to keep up since people are already accustomed to his. ------------------ |

Actually, I really like buddboy's. It will look especially good if the BG color of the site is the same of the image, or if (Buddboy) still has the gimp file (xcf?) he can make the black background transparent/alpha. imo, images w/o borders (using css) or that dont blend into the background look like crap. Thats why when my screen is bright, the fact the the CCN logos have defined edges bothers me... ------------------ Will the emo kids be my friends now? |
CPUFreak91 Member Posts: 2337 From: Registered: 02-01-2005 |
Oh also, if there is a single color background (like buddboy's), please make it transparent. ------------------ |
buddboy Member Posts: 2220 From: New Albany, Indiana, U.S. Registered: 10-08-2004 |

Here it is, thank you Firemaker for your idea CPU, my entry will be whatever logo you think is better of the 2 I posted. ------------------ |
crazyishone Member Posts: 1685 From: Registered: 08-25-2004 |
i dunno. with both o's replaced by it, and at the angle they are... it looks like male and female symbols. which isnt bad in itself, but i dont think joe's site has anything to do with male/female junk. Looks cool though. like the style. ------------------ Will the emo kids be my friends now? |
Lava Member Posts: 1905 From: Registered: 01-26-2005 |
well I could put the Q back to the original and just make the O part of the power button. What does everyone think of that? ------------------ |
firemaker103 Member Posts: 643 From: Registered: 07-13-2005 |
I say remove the power button from the Q, leave it in the o, and take it away at the bottom. Edit: Imagine that with the binary backround... *drools* ------------------ [This message has been edited by firemaker103 (edited March 24, 2006).] |

Here's my contribution: I will, say, though, that not knowing the background color you're planning on using makes color picking a little difficult. It's not very original, but I like the clean lines and the ones and zeros. But then I realized that, being outlined in black, it won't show up if you have a black background. Hence this: But then I thought, you know, why copy off lava's color scheme? So, that's what I've come up with so far. ------------------ [This message has been edited by tonnyx (edited March 24, 2006).] |

Lava: Well, I agree, the q should be a regular q. Also, to gain an even better chance of winning, should should at least make it transparent (I can edit the border color if need be) and/or add 0's and 1's. Tonyx: Your styles really attracted my eye! ------------------ |

CPU: here's a question I meant to ask earlier: In your original request, you said, "must say JQSoftware". Do you want it exactly like that? or is JQ Software ok? ------------------ |
buddboy Member Posts: 2220 From: New Albany, Indiana, U.S. Registered: 10-08-2004 |
hey... here's the changed image... without the background color... it might not look as good... so i left the old image too if you want to use it that way... here ya go:

Personaly Im not impressed with FMs logos... I dont like the way they arent original. I would rethink that choice. ------------------ |
CPUFreak91 Member Posts: 2337 From: Registered: 02-01-2005 |
quote: I'm rating them by look, not originality. However if FM just changed say... one letter or the color, then I wouldn't have considered his logo. Thanks guys! ------------------ |
