Don't worry, I'm not asking for an artist for a game. I am remaking my website (globalrant.tk) and I think it would be really awesome to have a character or something for the site. Something like Jeeves from ask.com or the monster dude fromm Monster.com. I have something in mind already, I'd just like it to be a little more "high-quality" than I can make it. Idea: I'd like it to be a globe with arms and legs, and it should be frowning or something. bushy eyebrows. The image will need to be done with the eye-sockets facing forward, because I intend to use an effect on it. There is this thing on Flash-gear.com that puts eyes that follow the cursor into any picture you supply. woah.... yeah... that sounds cool... If I wasn't on our old PC, and I was using my gaming rig, I might try and fire-up photoshop and see what I could come up with. Not that I can do anything really great... what is global rant? would a mouse over make the globe spin? wow, i hadnt thot of a spin on mouseover. that would be awesome. Vincent, I might try to put together a rough image later on, but at the moment im short on time. As long as its within those boundaries, im sure it will be cool. Also, I found out that the eye-following thing i was looking into only works when the cursor is over the flash object. So, theres a problem worth solving. Also, if anybody is interested in telling me a simple way to do a browser check on my visitors, and not let them view my site in IE, please tell. The whole thing looks downright crappy in Internet Explorer, but its just too big to go back and change now. ------------------ |

I was thinking no body, just it would have arms. The globe/eyes are great! And if the eyes move, that would rock! (it would rock like eyesmoving˛ if it had moving eyes AND a spining mouse over, but that could be like, mega hard...) ------------------ |
