TGS/XX is currently looking to fill the following positions;

+) 3d Artist
+) Level Designer
+) 2d Artist

Knowledge of 3d modeling programs (gmax, 3dsmax, lightwave, maya, etc.) is required, previous experiance working with content creation for games would be nice. Email your resume/portfolio to; mack@twoguyssoftware.ca. This is a non-paying position, don't have time to work on the entire project? One/Multiple piece submissions are fine as well.

We are currently working on the sequel to the 2003 Christian Game of the Year (Eternal War: Shadows of Light) Eternal War: Nightmares.

We are using a DirectX 9 built engine called Reality by Artificial Studios; http://www.artificialstudios.com/media.php

Serious inquiries only please, thanks.

It should be noted that although the positions are "currently" non-paying we estimate that this may change by the end of the year. Those who get in early might be offered additional forms of compensation not available to those who enter employment later. If you cannot commit to a full length project, at the very least you'll get the chance to work with a professional game engine worth thousands and thousands of dollars (oh, my aching bank account!) with graphics capabilities similar to Unreal Engine 3.

Also, we're looking for multiple Level Designers and not just one. Experience with the content creation tool Cartography Shop is a plus:

Schweet! I'm glad to hear you guys are looking for help (I've pestered Pat a few times about this heheh).
RE looks awesome! I haven't played with world creation in a few years (since GTK/Radiant came out)...I might just pick up CS as it sounds quite nifty (worldcraft was a nice package back in the day). For that matter, I might just have to do a portfolio for ya! Ha! woot!

We've already bought a team license for Cartography Shop so if you join us as a Level Designer you'll get free access to the required tools.

Artificial Studios does have a nice engine. I've only see it used in one
project. It will be interesting to see where you go with your project
since you using their engine. I've not personally used CartographyShop in
the past, but I have used 3dsMax, LightWave and Maya in the design of
other engines. My experience is in core engine development (physics,
networking, etc) so I don’t think I can be any use to you however,
I would like to know if you have a demo to "Eternal War: Shadows of Light"
and/or "Eternal War: Nightmares"?

Whadayaknow! My old mod site is still online Unfortunately most of the images and screenshots are not accessible...those were some fun days (/me ponders the crazy hours of chatting with people on three continents and trying to get a project together)...too bad the mates I left in charge couldn't get things together...sigh.
I'm gonna need a few days (weeks maybe the way work is going) to get stuff together for ya. I've done 2D, 3D and Level Design by the way - used Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, 3DS, Lightwave, Worldcraft, GTK/Radiant, Hammer. That content is old and inaccessible (ie, in storage) so I'll have to put together new stuff...but I look forward to it! I'll shutup now.

The demo for EW: SOL can be found on gamershell.com and fileplanet.

My experience is also in core engine development. Originally the plan was to develop our own engine internally and while that was going well buying Reality still saves us a lot of time. Not just for myself, but for the artists and level designers since the toolset is much more comprehensive. I can now concentrate on gameplay code instead of graphics, physics, sound, etc. There are certain features I'd like to add graphics-wise but otherwise the feature set fulfills our requirements.

It would be "nice" if you lived in Edmonton, Alberta Canada but we primarily work in a virtual office environment at this time. There is no age limit; you just need to be qualified.
