Hey Everyone... I am new here... but glad that this place exists!!! I have been in the entertainment industry for over 15 years. I have worked for Disney, Warner Brothers, Mondo Media, Colossal Pictures, Nickelodeon etc... I am looking for any type of programmers to enter into a Joint Venture on a Christian video game concept. I am well connected within the licensing and merchandising world and know that if I find the right programmer that matches the passion that me and my team have, that we can go very far "Designing Christ's Word for Kids"! Please send a demo and a list of your complete capabilities and interests to bbyers@brainkabobstudios.com . I look forward to hearing from any and all of you! What genre of gameplay are you looking at doing? Are you offering full-time positions? It appears your company mainly deals in products marketed to younger kids; will this game be the same? |

I don't think I know enough about game programming to go into the project, but I certainly have a huge passion for it. If you every need any website programming involving some php or html feel free to ask me. Good Luck Mike <>< |

Hey Guys... yeah, Mondo is the Happy Tree Friends... not really a Christian property, but I was Animation Director there for 2 years... worked on Blade Runner and Disneys Alladin... one with a 3D engine, the other 3D renders as 2D sprites... pretty cool though. We have 3 different projects that we are putting together. All fo them are Joint Venture projects. My proposal is to create a working demo, then have the distributor invest to pay to create the projects, and then collect whatever is left in price points and royalties on the end. I have done this with several Animated DVDs and it works out great. It isnt full time work, but ends up being good contract money and a nice quarterly payment off of sales. Most of the work that we produce is for a younger audience, and one of the 3 games we are designing is for that younger audience. The other 2 play older just clearing the tween market. We are looking for these 3 different game types: - First Person shooter for young kids (harmless with a good message) To learn more, please feel free to send samples of your programming to me at bbyers@brainkabobstudios.com . I will then send NDAs and hold a phone conference with the candidates that we find appropriate for each game. Thanks again and This board looks like it is going to be a great place to hang out! - Brian ------------------ |
