None of the authoring tools ususally offer networking but this might although I haven't really checked.

I would still recommend coding it though, I would never take any game seriously that wasn't coded, if you make this RPG free then fine, but no one in their right minds would pay. The only people who could make good games out of simple authoring tools would probably be programmers! And they choose to code which is exactly what I would advise you to do. Choose a simple language like Blitz or Dark Basic.

Good luck, although I wouldn't hold my breath if you're using an authoring tool.

Lots of resources here:

Before starting an MMORPG, I suggest reading this:

. . . and make very sure you still want to continue. Making an MMORPG is hard.

Switch Mayhem now available! Get it here
Codename: Roler - hoping to get more done over the holidays . . .

Ah, you have two posts - confusing!!

I mentioned Blitz in my other reply, but the torque engine looks pretty good. RealmCrafter uses Blitz, so if you buy the Pro version you get the source code. As far as I know, RealmCrafter is not released yet.

Advice - dont spend too much money straight away. I would suggest starting on a smaller game project first and see how you get on. Their really is a LOT to learn, and you WILL make mistakes. Best to make those mistakes on a fun mini project first

God Bless,
Rhy
