Hello. I am a 3d artist. I am graduating this May and am hunting for a job as a 3d modeller or texture artist. I am having a rather difficult time finding a list of christian friendly developers. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions or perhaps a link to something of the sort. A job prospect has arisen with a local startup game developer, but due to a heart condition health insurance is a must. My graduation date is drawing near, so as much help as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated. Thanksa lot, Justin |

Left Behind Games "might" be hiring some time this summer after they release their first game but the majority of Christian game developers are, at this time, startup corporations that do not and cannot offer monetary compensation. If you really don't want to go into the mainstream game industry then you might have to find a normal job and work with a Christian developer part-time in hopes that they'll eventually procur financial investment and/or publisher support and thus be capable of sustaining full-time salaries. Two Guys Software is hopeful that we'll do just that some time this year. http://www.leftbehindgames.com/careers.htm [This message has been edited by Gump (edited March 10, 2005).] |

Thanks for the feeback. I know that my prospects for working for a christian developer as my paid career is slim. I have no problem working for a mainstream developer as long as the content is clean. I guess what I am asking is out of the real career oriented developers, do you guys have any suggestions or lists of christian friendly ones? I'm sure you can come up with some that I would not think of. Thanks a lot, Justin |

Hi, I am probably not what you are looking for at all, but here is a link to a post I made on this forum a few weeks ago. Although someone else was interested, they have been inundated with other work and so it has not worked out. http://www.christiancoders.com/cgi-bin/ubb-cgi/postdisplay.cgi?forum=Forum3&topic=000207 All the best, |

The EA slave farm ( ) produces games that are mostly family-friendly. Otherwise I don't know of any developers whose management specifically attempts to be Christian friendly. |

I think it would be cool to work for Naughty Dog (creators of Jak and Daxter) or Ratbag (creators of Dirt Track Racing) ------------------ I dont like siggys. They are to hard to think up :( |

you might find better changes in the handheld gaming market, alot of companies that make GBA etc sort of games don't delve into the dark side so much. I have christian friends working in this industry (with non christian bosses) ------------------ |

Thanks you guys for the feedback. The specific names of developers is especially useful. I love all genres of games and am basically looking for a developer that makes fun clean games. Any more suggestions that come to mind would be great. Justin |

Hey, thanks a lot for all the feedback. I have found employment doing some other things, but I'll still be able to work on game stuff in my freetime. I'll keep you posted. |
