Depends on the type of business you want to set up.

Reasoning with non-believers without encouraging them to read the Bible, I have found, is quite useless. God's word convinces - not our own reason.

most of all it depends on the country you live in, and its bizarre regulations.

A computer game business. Set up in the UK (computing laws in US and UK are similar). I'm just wondering about the following things:

- startup capital.
- people required.
- software required.

that kind of thing...

Mine will most likely be New Hampshire, USA. I wont be starting for quite a few years but just to be ready I was wondering about employees, money, do I need a company building? How do I sell my games? Do I need a particular program? Do I need to know C? Have I asked enough questions?

As Klumsy mentioned, it's different for every place. Registering your gaming company is like registering any other business.

do I need a company building?

No

How do I sell my games?

Have a business relationship with a publisher, a distributor, online.

Do I need a particular program?

No

quote:
Do I need to know C?

Depends what game you make

In the U.S., there are different business types to consider: Sole proprietership, partnership, S-corporation, limited liability company, corporation, etc . . .

Each business type has its advantages and disadvantages.

How do you get together the startup capital? Is it necessary to go through the whole Bank Loan stuff... I honestly would really like to avoid taking loans....
