I know this might be out of left field as far as email's you normally receive, but I thought I should take a shot. I am a now retired Christian tennis pro who has gotten into online multigaming. I iused to use my tennis as my witnessing ground now I use the gaming world. I recenlty ran inot a rather large and most incredible Christian gaming organization entitled MenofGod. They opened my eyes to the immense gaming world available for witnessing. To be honest the broad picture never crossed my mind. I always witness on a personal level but never thought to expand my entire group into a witnessing forum. So slowly but surely I have been transforming our group into a multigaming organization for the purpose of witnessing to our members and people we associate with. Where MoG only allows Christians, we allow anyone who does not cuss or that is disrespectful to our beliefs. This is allowiing non-Christians a positive group influence. It is trying and tough at times but I know in the end it is all well worth it. We have seen several members come back to Christ, and one just recently got saved. PTL.

The reason I am contacting you is to make you aware of us - {URC} & MoG, what we are doing, and to see if there is any way you might be able to assist me. I was really impressed by your site, the info I read, your background, passion, purpose. I could really use people of your talent, giftings, ability, and background. I understand your focus is on the development of Christian games well this is a great venue to introduce them, both to Christians and non-Christians alike. Not faling to mention you ministerial skills are greatly needed here as is your technilogical skill and knowledge.

I am still in need of strong & well grounded Christians involved in online Multi-Gaming. People with Programing, Computer skills, Web skills, Organizational, Managerial, & Leadership skills, who could run our Chapel Section as well as possibly some of our Gaming Divisions. As well as yourself, do you have any or know people who might be available & interested?

They need to be able to get on to our www.teamspeak.org win client side program - our ip is: 198.64.190.131 and it would be nice (but by NO means neccessary) if they are somewhat knowledgable in a variety on games including but not limited to: all versions of Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Battlefield, America's Army, Counter Strike, Enemy Territory, Ghost Recon, Raven Shield, Diablo2, Ages of Empires II, Shadow Bane, Starcrafts, StarWars, Star Trek, etc., etc. We are not limited to these but the are the primary ones. We have several of the first games listed already organized and have been competing them as well, but many still are in need of leadership and would be a wonderful opportunity for me to get some Christians in there to head things up and be a good influence.

I personally can play 10 of these and most variations/mods of them as well and do this for the purpose of spending time with all of the member groups in hopes of buliding commited relationships for the purpose of witnessing & ministering to them.

We just got the first phase of our Chapel site up at www.urcclan.net (as you will be able to tell it's a slow learning and growing process) also have our prayer, praise, and now a testimony sections up on the forum. That is me by the way and a brief - lol recap of my testimony. We now have close relations with several MoG members and and are getting to know their founder and to learn from him. Also we have several personal gaming servers and access to many more any time we need them via a request. Also just so you might see the scope of things going on here, many of us attend a live online Bible Study every Sunday night 9 pm est on Teamspeak. There was a live Christian artist Lee Lumely ministering to us a few weeks ago. Technology has provided us with a truly amazing tool for witnessing and though our group is new to all this we are already seeing wonderful results as I mentioned earlier.

Now that I am not longer playing tennis, I am spending quite a deal of time on changing our Gaming group into a Multi-Gaming Organization. As mentioned, my primary goal is to be a good witness for these people and to slowly surround them with as many Christian influences as possible. I am also attempting to gain additional multiple private funding to expand as much as possible eventually with the goal of having the Gaming Organization able to pay comepletely for itself without the help of outside sources.

On a side note, I will soon be upgrading my computer skills at a local school and will gradually move into programming with an end goal of one day entering the gaming design world. A long term goal I have is to pull together a team to design a top notch online Christian based game and mainstream it for the purpose of bringing people to Christ.

I am in desperate need of assistance so any help you may provide, even in direction, guidance, contacts, and advice would be greatly appreciated. I would love to speak with you some day if that is possible.

You get pretty much get to kow me via my testimony:

i think you're doing a good thing, it's a little different than most CHRISTian organizations i've seen :-). i was involved in a clan that played an online game called runescape. i would be interested in joining yours, but do to my slow connection there is no online gaming for me. right now the game i'm playing the most is dungeon siege. i was playing freelancer. maybe i'll get dsl soon. anyway, hope y'all get to share the gospel and show the love to lots of people!

We play a lot of different games with many not being listed because as all gamers they play as the mood hits them. So more than likely we have someone who plays something in common with everyone, if that that makes since. Most of my strong leaders have left for various reasons: family issues, school, work, moving, operations, etc. Our group fluctuates from 20-60 members depending on the season and number of quality leaders we have at the moment. Leaders have to: #1 be interested in our members, getting to know them all, hang with them all, make them feel welcome and at home, etc. It helps to be on our Teamspeak, have multiple im's, xfire, & gamespy, though the Teamspeak is the key. With regards to the ministry side of things, it is simple, build relationships with the people, be a good example (no whining, no perverts, no cussing, no sexual innuendos, etc.), then it is easy to witness to them. Many are open, some are distant, a few totally lost, and 2 or 3 adversarial. That is why this is not a Christian organization, we do not exclude non-Christians but try to politely influence them as well as encouraging the ones who are Christians lifting them up. We do not get into Biblical discussions to often but are always encouraging all of them to join the live Internet Bible Study on Sunday nights 9 pm EST. I do one on one witness to our members and allies but do not come on to strong for the most part simply because most of the guys and gals are not open to that style of witnessing. We are closely linked to several MoG members who are VERY bold in their witnessing style and I leave that up to them. Though we have this relationship with MoG, my people are not threatened by me when they are some times by MoG. So in this manner my hopes are to be able to reach more people through diversity of styles but without alienating myself. Works pretty well so far. Our Chapel section is in need of a leader as are many of the new games we are adding. I would prefer Christians to be our leaders and the one's influencing our members not others. So first the first time in quite a while we are in a position of need and availability - we have a lot of openings/opportunity for me to slide some more Christian leaders in.

Any more questions, plz email me at cicdragonlord@hotmail.com
