Oh, boy. I didn’t know you guys existed. Now I have a potentially larger programmer base..!

If you are looking to become a part of something gigantic, please read on.

I am the CEO of ProsArche (“Against Principalities” in Greek), a company that was started specifically for the creation of one game, but it looks like it will be doing more than one. However, this message is about the one large one we are doing, to give you an idea of what the project is like.

The idea of the game (an RPG) is to communicate the entire gospel in a convincing way to just about anyone. To this end, it will analyze the personality of the players and their religious leanings from responses that they give throughout the game. As they play, different options and storylines become available to the players, and different choices can be made.

The game, from the developers’ standpoint, will have four basic goal categories. The first goal is to systematically present and demonstrate as false all worldviews that compete with Christianity. The second goal is to show the truthfulness of Christianity, by showing evidence in favor of the verity of the Bible, historicity of events in it, &c, and addressing the quad-lemma of the identity of Jesus (legend, liar, lunatic, or Lord). The third goal is to demonstrate the individual player’s sinfulness and need of rescuing from sin and its effects (i.e. more sin and eventually hell). The fourth goal is to present the history of the world from a Biblical perspective, from Genesis to Revelation, focusing on the war between God and the devil and how mankind fits into the whole scheme of things (although history would be presented in a way so as to not be easily recognizable to someone not familiar with what God has said). If you would like to see how I intend to accomplish these goals, just email me and ask for a brief (3 page *.rtf) explanation.

There are a number of other technical things that would make the game interesting and fun to Joe Pagan, but the plot of the game (which is immense) is designed to be so interesting even to the secular mind (while remaining Biblical) that it alone would be good enough for the public to want it. The plot is quite long and involved, and because it requires the input of a player to direct its actual path, I couldn’t ‘summarize’ it, but I can give an overarching outline to those interested as well. Basically, it tries to show every major plan the devil has tried to use to combat God and how God has thwarted him. This includes the devil’s continuance of the kingdom of Babylon, from the tower of Babel, to ancient Egypt, to Babylon, even into modern times. Also, it shows how the devil has used the nephilim throughout history and all over the world to ruin humankind. (I will expound on this point so people can see how every point in the game will be expounded, in some sense.)

In nearly every culture in the world, there are stories (this is an actual fact; you can contact me for actual details on these references), about shining white ‘gods’ coming from the stars on flaming chariots who procreate with local women. Their offspring are enormous people who then assist in the building of technologically advanced things in that area. The Aztecs and other native American tribes, the Egyptians, the Bhagvad Gita, &c. all record this. (There are so many references, it really would be boring to just sit down and read them all, so I am being brief in my accounting.) Of course, so does the Bible, although without mention of the ‘flaming chariots,’ when it talks about the Nephilim. And throughout the world’s history (e.g. the children of Anak in the Bible), the same pattern is followed: ‘gods,’ giant children, &c. The devil seems to use same strategy now, though. After all, who isn’t familiar with the pop culture idea that aliens come halfway across who-knows-where just to breed with us…And that the children are larger than us? Or that they have polydactylous hands (one extra finger, just like the sons of Anak)? Or that aliens’ spaceships glow? In light of the fact that Jesus said that the days of His coming would be like the days of Noah (see Luke 17:26 & Genesis 6:4), as well as Daniel’s unsettling claim about those who would mix with the seed of men, then an interesting plot begins to develop. Of course, this is a miniscule part of an enormous story. The plot basically re-tells the history of the world, and goes through nearly every major historical period from a Biblical perspective. So imagine how long that would take, and you may see how big the story is.

If you are interested and would like to work on this project, or just know more about it, please feel free to email me at jerryrowe@mail.com (the address I use for solicitations like this). Thanks so much! God has been directing this for many years, and I would greatly like to see some prayers answered in some people here responding to this request. Certainly, some prayers were answered in my finding this site. Thanks again, and I hope to hear from you soon.

In Jesus Christ’s service,
Jerry Rowe

PS - If you would like to see the effectiveness of the method I have described above, of explaining the entire Christian perspective of history to provide context for the presentation of the gospel, please see the video "Ee-tow!"

Hi Jerry! I am VERY interested in working on a Christian game. I am a coder, please visit my web site www.gingerchristine.com. I am currently working, but not on Christian games, which is my ultimate goal. When I was called to make Christian Games, I thought I was the only one, I have been very pleasantly surprised! I would love to hear more about your game and your company. Please send me as much information as you can!

Hi Jerry! I tried to send an e-mail to the address you gave, but the server blocked me out thinking I was spam! It has to do with my mail server, so don't worry. Anywho, my friend Ginger directed me to your post, and I have to say that I'm very interested in your game. I'm a game programmer, and I found your idea really unique and interesting. Any extra information about the game and your company would be greatly appreciated!

I have a personal website at www.twelve32.com. I've got some demos, source code, and other stuff on there. I'd be interesting in working with you on the game. So send any information that you can to jputman@twelve32.com. Hope to hear from you soon!
